More Than Installation
Longhorn’s primary offering uses Longhorn-owned commercial-grade LED lighting for a defined seasonal display. Planning, professional installation, applicable in-season service, takedown and the selected storage arrangement are identified in your Proposal and Contract.
Tell us about the property, the display you have in mind and your timing. We help bring those details together before you proceed to the full seasonal Contract.
A Display for Your Property
The Proposal identifies the selected display areas, products and price. Every area or decorative element is not automatically included.
Plan the roofline, garage door, front windows and front door. Applicable roofline lighting is configured for the defined display area, with layout and access considered.
Select bushes, trees, columns, wreaths, garland or custom areas where appropriate. Tree size, shape and accessibility help determine the display—not one identical solution for every property.
A proposed lighting-design visualization of your actual property can help you review the plan. It is a planning illustration, not completed-work photography or an exact bulb-by-bulb guarantee.
The Primary Seasonal System
Longhorn provides the commercial-grade seasonal LED lighting for its primary service. Your agreement provides seasonal service and use of that system; Longhorn retains ownership of its lighting inventory unless the Contract expressly states otherwise.
Selected colors, lighting styles, products and decorative elements are documented for your property. Installation, service, removal and storage follow the defined arrangement. This is seasonal Christmas lighting, not a permanent architectural-lighting system.
An Additional Option
Already have lights or décor? Longhorn may install customer-provided items under a separately defined arrangement. We review condition, compatibility, required parts and the agreed display before affected work.
Customer-owned lights remain yours. Pre-existing defects, brittle or incompatible products, missing components and failed strings are not automatically Longhorn’s responsibility. Replacement parts are additional unless included, and unavailable components can affect the work. Longhorn remains responsible for damage it causes.
Service, takedown and storage or return responsibilities may differ from the primary Longhorn-owned system. Your written agreement makes those differences clear.
Power, Access & Safety
Longhorn installs the agreed display with the defined attachment, power-routing and access arrangements. Timers or controls are included where selected—not assumed for every project. Professional installation and removal reduce your need to perform the contracted roofline or ladder work yourself.
Provide agreed safe access and suitable, accessible electrical power. Tell us about gates, pets, property restrictions, fragile surfaces and known hazards. Available outlets, GFCI status and power zones are considered for the display.
Seasonal lighting setup does not include electrical repairs, new outlets or circuit upgrades unless separately scoped and priced. Regulated electrical modifications require appropriately licensed providers.
Unsafe or impractical weather and roof/access conditions can require rescheduling installation, service or takedown. The agreement addresses the property and scope; it does not promise zero attachment marks, weather movement or electrical interruptions under every condition.
Support During the Season
Applicable in-season service visits are included in Longhorn’s primary seasonal-lighting offering as defined in the Proposal and Contract. If a section goes out or a strand moves, contact Longhorn so we can review the issue and arrange the appropriate service.
Longhorn-owned sections, timers and attachments are reviewed under the documented service scope. Responsibility may differ for property power problems, weather-related conditions, customer alterations, third-party damage or customer-provided product failures.
This is managed seasonal support, not unlimited repairs for every cause or an immediate, same-day or 24/7 lighting-service dispatch promise. Please contact us rather than climbing to adjust installed roofline lighting.
After the Season
Professional takedown is included as part of Longhorn’s red-carpet seasonal service. We return after the season to remove the contracted display according to the agreed takedown schedule, weather and access conditions.
Removal includes applicable labeling and storage preparation. Longhorn seasonal storage is available where selected; customer-owned materials may instead be returned according to the arrangement. Longhorn retains ownership of its own lights through removal and storage.
The agreement defines storage or return—not indefinite free storage or permanent retention of every exact component. Prior display information can help plan another season, but each new season uses a new Proposal. Renewal, price and installation date are not automatic.
Homes & Business Properties
For homes, consider rooflines, garages, windows and doors alongside selected bushes, trees and decorative accents. For businesses, offices, retail and other commercial properties, the display can focus on agreed exterior areas, entries, landscaping or common areas.
Commercial planning accounts for access, operating hours, public or tenant areas, available power and installation staging. Scope and property conditions guide the work; we do not assume every building needs the same display.
Longhorn manages the agreed scope, coordination and customer communication using experienced independent subcontractor crews and appropriately qualified providers. Learn about Longhorn Construction Co., based in Aubrey and serving DFW and North Texas.
Design, Price & Booking
Your one-page Longhorn Christmas Lighting Proposal brings together the proposed design, concise summary, selected display areas, price, customer notes and applicable installation-date options. Review what is proposed and what it costs before proceeding to the full Contract.
Pricing depends on the display areas, roofline layout and length, height/access, trees and bushes, decorative elements, lighting source, installation complexity and selected service/storage arrangement. The Proposal establishes the actual price.
The deposit secures the install date. An unconfirmed date is not reserved, and not every requested date is available.
For normal installation, Completion means the contracted display is installed and operational, subject to documented punch-list and seasonal-service provisions. The second payment does not wait until takedown, storage or every future service visit.
Christmas Lighting follows the seasonal service obligations in your Proposal and Contract. Installation, in-season service, takedown and storage/return are governed by those terms—not a generic one-year construction warranty.
