Plan Your Project Payment

Financing Options for Longhorn Construction Projects

Financing is optional. You may choose your own bank, credit union or another financing source. Longhorn provides the construction Proposal and project information; your selected lender makes the financing decision.

A project inquiry—not a credit application.

Your Choice

Financing Is an Optional Payment Path

Customers may choose to work with their own bank, credit union or other financing source. Longhorn can provide the written Proposal and project information needed to help you discuss financing with the lender you select.

Availability depends on your selected lender, the project and the lender’s requirements. No financing approval, rate or term is guaranteed. This is not a Longhorn bank partnership or a universal financing program for every service.

Whether or not you use financing, your Longhorn Proposal or Contract defines the construction project and price.

Clear Responsibilities

Longhorn Provides the Project; Your Lender Provides the Financing

Talk With Longhorn

Discuss the work, selections, written project price and construction payment responsibilities. We can provide project information for your financing discussion.

Talk With Your Selected Lender

Your lender controls the application, eligibility, credit decision, rates, terms and disclosures. Ask it about fees, credit inquiries and any conditions before proceeding.

Longhorn is not a lender or loan broker, does not select a lender for you and does not approve credit.

Project First

How to Plan Your Project and Financing

  1. Define the project. Discuss your construction needs with Longhorn and review the written Proposal and price.
  2. Choose your financing source. Take the project information to your bank, credit union or another lender you select.
  3. Review the lender’s process. Submit any application directly through its process and review its decision, disclosures and offered terms.
  4. Coordinate project payment. If financing is approved, discuss payment arrangements with Longhorn before relying on those funds for Contract obligations.

You can ask project-planning questions before finalizing the scope. Your lender determines what information it needs and when you can apply. An application or preliminary response is not a guarantee of approval or available funds.

Separate Agreements

Your Construction Proposal or Contract Still Controls the Work

The Longhorn agreement continues to define scope, materials and selections, exclusions, price, warranties, change authorization and Contract responsibilities. Financing does not automatically remove a required deposit or fund later additional work.

The approved financing amount may not equal the project price. Construction changes and any financing implications are addressed separately under the applicable written agreements and lender requirements.

Insurance remains separate. Financing does not waive a deductible, change your deductible obligation or determine insurer coverage. Longhorn does not waive or absorb insurance deductibles.

Useful Answers

Financing Questions

Can I use financing for a Longhorn construction project?

You may choose to discuss your project with your own bank, credit union or another financing source. Availability depends on the project and your selected lender’s requirements. Longhorn can provide the written Proposal and project information for that discussion.

Is Longhorn Construction the lender?

No. Longhorn is the construction contractor, not the lender or a loan broker. You select your financing source. That lender handles the application, eligibility, credit decision, rates, terms and disclosures; Longhorn does not guarantee approval.

Is the Longhorn financing inquiry form a credit application?

No. This form is a project and financing-planning inquiry to Longhorn. Apply directly through the process provided by your selected lender. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank information, income documents or credit information through this form.

What rates and terms are available, and will applying affect my credit?

Ask your selected lender about its current rates, repayment terms, fees, application requirements and credit-inquiry disclosures before applying. Longhorn does not set those terms or promise a particular credit-reporting outcome.

Can every Longhorn project be financed?

Financing is not automatically available for every project or customer. Your selected lender determines eligibility under its requirements. Longhorn does not advertise a universal service-eligibility list or a Commercial financing program.

Does financing change my Longhorn Proposal or Contract?

No. The written Proposal or Contract still defines the construction scope, selections, exclusions, price, warranties, change authorization and responsibilities. Financing does not automatically eliminate a required project deposit or cover later additional work.

Does financing change my insurance deductible or coverage?

No. Financing does not waive your deductible, change your deductible obligation or determine insurance coverage. The insurer determines coverage under the policy. Longhorn does not waive or absorb insurance deductibles.
