Longhorn Construction Co. provides commercial roof inspections, repair, restoration/coatings and replacement. Based in Aubrey, we serve DFW and North Texas, work throughout Texas and have nationwide project capability.
Repair, Restore or Replace
A leak does not automatically require a complete replacement. Begin with the roof condition, the cause of the problem and the needs of the property.

Request Inspection →Consider restoration where existing roof conditions, necessary repairs and the selected system support it. Not every roof is a coating candidate.
Request Inspection →Evaluate replacement where repair or restoration is unsuitable, or where the condition and project requirements otherwise make replacement appropriate.
Request Inspection →Systems and Project Fit
Longhorn works with TPO, modified bitumen, standing-seam and R-panel metal roofing, and silicone and urethane coating systems. Selection depends on the existing roof assembly and condition, slope, drainage, moisture/substrate conditions, building use, project requirements and manufacturer/system requirements.
We work with applicable commercial products and systems from GAF, Johns Manville, Elevate, Carlisle and CertainTeed. These are product/system relationships, not claims of certification by each manufacturer. No system is universally superior for every property.
Longhorn Construction Co. is American WeatherStar certified. Commercial roof restoration/coating recommendations depend on the existing roof condition, necessary repairs, selected system and applicable manufacturer requirements. Certification does not guarantee coating suitability, savings or warranty eligibility.
Coating is not a substitute for correcting unresolved roof problems. An inspection and any appropriate further evaluation establish whether restoration or another scope is suitable.
Findings Before Recommendations
Longhorn offers free commercial roof inspections, with photo reports and written findings/recommendations. Documentation identifies the inspected areas, observed conditions, limitations and proposed next steps. Concealed or unverified conditions remain distinct from confirmed findings.
We perform or coordinate moisture testing where appropriate to the project and selected system. Not every inspection requires moisture testing or destructive testing. Further evaluation is identified when needed to define the proposed construction scope.
For storm-related concerns, Longhorn can document observed construction conditions and prepare its proposed construction scope. The insurer determines coverage under the policy. An inspection or construction Proposal is not a promise of coverage or payment.
Explore roof repair services for related repair information. If the property also has interior or other building damage, discuss a separate building restoration scope.
Commercial Project Coordination
Longhorn coordinates work around occupied properties. As appropriate to the scope, planning addresses roof/site access, staging, material placement, entrances, work hours, occupant/tenant/resident/business communication, sensitive areas, phasing and operational restrictions.
The exact plan depends on the property and work. We do not guarantee zero disruption or uninterrupted operations. Access and any necessary restrictions should be understood before work begins.
Our experienced independent subcontractor crews include long-standing crew relationships. Longhorn manages project scope, quality expectations, coordination and the customer relationship. Site-specific safety and property protection are part of planning; they are not a claim of a particular regulatory certification.
Documented Upkeep
Longhorn offers annual and semiannual commercial roof inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Available services include photo documentation, written findings/reports, leak and repair identification, and budget/planning information where appropriate.
The program is selected for the building, roof condition and applicable system requirements. These services are available options, not a mandatory schedule for every property. Maintenance does not replace necessary repairs or guarantee warranty eligibility.
Where roof-edge drainage work is relevant, identify gutters and fascia needs within the appropriate scope.
Project-Specific Coverage
The written commercial Proposal/Contract identifies Longhorn's workmanship obligations and applicable manufacturer/system/NDL warranty terms. Workmanship obligations and manufacturer material/system coverage are related but distinct. We do not apply a universal commercial workmanship duration.
NDL means No Dollar Limit for covered repairs under the issued warranty—not unlimited coverage for every cause. Eligibility, term, exclusions, installation, inspection, maintenance and registration requirements depend on the selected manufacturer, system and program.
Longhorn is GAF Silver Certified and BBB A+ Rated. Contractor certification is separate from warranty coverage and does not establish a particular project's eligibility. Commercial warranty options must be confirmed for the proposed scope.
First-Hand Project Experience

Commercial Roofing Answers
A leak alone does not establish the need for replacement. Longhorn evaluates observed conditions, the source of the problem, the existing roof assembly and project requirements. Repair may address appropriate localized conditions; restoration or replacement depends on the findings and applicable system requirements.
Possibly. Suitability depends on the existing roof condition, moisture/substrate conditions, drainage, necessary repairs and selected-system requirements. Longhorn is American WeatherStar certified, but certification does not make every roof a coating candidate or guarantee savings or warranty eligibility.
The inspected areas, observed conditions, photographs, written findings/recommendations, limitations and proposed next steps. Concealed or unverified conditions should be distinguished from confirmed findings. Longhorn performs or coordinates moisture testing when appropriate; not every inspection requires it.
Often it can, depending on the building and scope. Longhorn coordinates access, staging, work hours, occupant communication, phasing and restrictions as appropriate. The agreed plan is property-specific; zero disruption or uninterrupted operations cannot be guaranteed.
NDL means No Dollar Limit for covered repairs under the issued warranty, not unlimited coverage for every cause. Eligibility, term, exclusions, installation, inspection, maintenance and registration requirements depend on the manufacturer, system and program. The written commercial Proposal/Contract identifies Longhorn workmanship obligations separately from applicable manufacturer/system/NDL terms.
Selection considers the existing assembly, roof condition, slope, drainage, moisture/substrate conditions, building use, project requirements and manufacturer/system requirements. Longhorn works with TPO, modified bitumen, standing-seam and R-panel metal, and silicone and urethane coatings. No single system is universally superior.
